Overview
Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a lively Telugu action-comedy that revolves around the journey of a teacher named Chandrasekhar Rao, who plays a pivotal role in shaping the life of a rebellious boy. After recognizing the boy's potential when he stands up against a mistreating warden, Chandrasekhar names him Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Fast forward 24 years, and Chandrasekhar has become the chief minister, facing threats to his life that lead to a series of political maneuvers. As he survives an assassination attempt, a corrupt politician named Chadala Marri Nalla Nagappa emerges, whose ambitions lead to chaos and violence in the political arena.
Amidst this turmoil, Bhagat Singh, who has now taken on the role of a playful forest guard, finds himself caught in the crossfire of Nagappa's schemes. When Nagappa's son arrives from America and stirs up trouble by confronting the local police, it’s Bhagat Singh who steps in to restore order, showcasing his bravery and skills. The film blends humor and action while highlighting themes of rebellion and justice, all set against a backdrop of political intrigue. Though it had a festive release, the movie received mixed reviews, marking it as another challenging outing for director Harish Shankar after his previous film.
