Overview
Pelli Sandadi is a delightful Telugu musical romance film that hit the screens in 1996, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. The story revolves around Vijay Krishna, played by Srikanth, who comes from a family deeply rooted in music. As the film unfolds, we see Vijay on a quest for love, driven by a dream where he glimpses a mysterious girl with a distinctive mole near her belly button. While his father is eager to find him a suitable bride, he arranges for Vijay to marry Kalyani, portrayed by Ravali, who also belongs to a musical background.
The charm of the film lies in its vibrant music, composed by M. M. Keeravani, which adds a rich layer to the storytelling. Pelli Sandadi became a significant hit, grossing between ₹12 to ₹15 crore against a budget of ₹1.25 crore, making it one of the top-grossing Telugu films of its year.
