"Ramayana: Part 1" is an eagerly awaited epic film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, based on the revered ancient text by Valmiki. Set to release on November 6, 2026, this Hindi-language movie will be the first of a two-part series, showcasing the incredible journey of Prince Rama, who is known for his righteousness and valor. The film features a star-studded cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol, among others, and boasts a staggering budget of ₹4,000 crore, making it the most expensive Indian film ever produced.

The story follows the early life of Rama as he navigates through trials and tribulations. Under the guidance of sage Vishvamitra, he defeats the evil Rakshasi Tataka, proving his strength and virtue. His adventures lead him to the kingdom of Mithila, where he wins Princess Sita's heart by stringing the divine bow of Lord Shiva. However, his destiny takes a dark turn when his stepmother, Queen Kaikeyi, manipulates the situation, forcing him into a fourteen-year exile. Accompanied by Sita and his loyal brother Lakshmana, Rama faces numerous challenges in the Dandaka Forest, culminating in the tragic abduction of Sita by the powerful demon king Ravana. This sets the stage for an epic quest filled with cosmic conflict and deep emotional stakes.
