HIT 3

HIT: The Third Case is an intense neo-noir action thriller that marks the third installment of the HIT film series. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film features Nani in the lead role alongside Srinidhi Shetty, who makes her debut in Telugu cinema. The storyline revolves around a tough police officer from the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) who is on a mission to track down a group of ruthless killers wreaking havoc with their gruesome crimes. The film’s gripping narrative is woven together through flashbacks as the lead character, SP Arjun Sarkaar IPS, recounts the events that led to his imprisonment after a violent incident.

The production of HIT: The Third Case saw some delays, but Nani eventually prioritized the project, filming across various stunning locations like Hyderabad and Jammu & Kashmir from September 2024 to March 2025. Released on May 1, 2025, the movie garnered mixed reviews from critics but still managed to become one of the year’s highest-grossing Telugu films. With its thrilling plot and strong performances, particularly from Nani, fans can look forward to more in the series, as a sequel titled HIT: The Fourth Case has already been announced.
