Hanuman Ansh

"Hanuman Ansh" is a captivating biographical film set against the backdrop of pre-Independence India, telling the inspiring story of Lakshmi Narayan, a young boy who embarks on a profound spiritual journey after the loss of his mother. Driven by his belief that only Lord Rama can reunite him with her, he leaves his hometown of Akbarpur in search of divine connection, guided by the teachings of the Hanuman Chalisa. As he travels through Northern India, he encounters various ascetics and deepens his spirituality, often facing trials that test his resolve and humility.

The film beautifully captures Lakshmi Narayan's transformation into Neem Karoli Baba, showcasing his unwavering dedication and the miracles that follow him. One notable incident occurs when he boards a train without a ticket, leading to a mysterious delay that prompts railway officials to recognize his spiritual authority. Instead of seeking personal gain, he advocates for the fair treatment of all saints traveling in India, emphasizing his commitment to compassion and service. Released in August 2026, "Hanuman Ansh" initially struggled at the box office but eventually became a sleeper hit, praised for its storytelling and spiritual depth, making it one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.
